Halloween Candy: the Good, the Bad and the Scary

Tonight we are dressing our kids up (one is a Pirate and the other is a Punk Rock Princess) and heading over to the military base to go Trick or Treating.  We have invited our German neighbors (yes, we live in Germany) to come along with us so we can show them how Halloween is celebrated in the United States.  This has become a new tradition because we did this last year as well.  It has been fun seeing our German neighbors light up as they get goobs and goobs American candy.  They quickly become the envy of their schoolmates.  So tonight we will continue this tradition.
Like me, I am sure you are going to have bag(s) of candy on Monday and it will be calling out "eat me, eat me, eat me"!  Here is a small guide of what you should chow down on and what you can stay away from.
